It's so frustrating, so upsetting when you thought you have made the right decision and suddenly everything is proving otherwise. You want to rely on people, yet they are so unreliable.
People think it's the thought that matters. Not quite. You can't just plant the seeds and leave them with thoughts that eventually they will grow healthily. You can't just say you have faith in Allah and do nothing because Allah knows best. In the book of Allah, of course you will get rewards just by thinking of doing good. Allah does not rely on you. Still, He says people who follow their good intentions with deeds will be getting more rewards.
But it's different with people. We are living in an interrelated system of life. It's the thoughts, followed by deeds that count in the book of life. Or, as they say it, "Actions speak louder than words."
